Amber Thomas, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CEO

Amber Thomas is the founding member and owner of Amped Up Wellness. Active within the healthcare field since 2010, she earned her Master’s degree from The University of St. Augustine, and is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She specializes in primary care, medical weight loss, thyroid optimization and hormone replacement therapy. Amber utilizes a functional approach to healthcare with the use of patient specific nutritional plans, specially formulated medications, and personalized vitamin and mineral supplementation regimens.

As a provider, I became increasingly frustrated with our current healthcare system. Functional medicine providers who wish to treat root cause problems are often blocked by the health insurance companies. It was through this frustration and desire to provide patient specific solutions to root cause problems that I began Amped Up Wellness. I seek to provide personalized, high- quality care to achieve your personal health goals.
